This won't be long....As I created my blog account and created the name Product_of_Grace, I was forced to find out why I chose that name. As I was doing another study I came across a scripture in 1 Corinthians 15:9-10, "For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them-yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me." That's exactly it!
Last night God called me to have an all-nighter with Him, allowing Him to break me down and build me up. That's what He brought me to the realization of, it's only because of His grace. I don't deserve any title, gift, or relationship but by His grace....I didn't want to surrender to Him, I ran from Him, but by His grace....The were a few times that I wanted to leave this place and call it quits, but by His grace. Like Paul, His grace was not without effect. His grace is not taken for granted, so graciously God has allowed me to come into a personal meaningful relationship with Him, with others. Man, when you truly think about it, you wouldn't be where you are today if it wasn't for His grace. If we are believers, if we confess that we have been saved by grace, how can it be without effect? How can the fact that there was nothing we could have done to save ourselves and it was only the love of God that kept us, how can that not provoke us to give in return. To give our very lives, to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice, Romans 12:1 says this is our reasonable service, the least we could do.
